A reference resource for TISD customers
  • First, go to http://mail.tisd.net and log in using your User ID and Password for an existing TISD email account. (Note that your User ID is only what appears before "@tisd.net" [Example: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. - The User ID is fakeuser.] Otherwise, it will not authenticate if you enter the full email address.
  • Once logged in, click Create Message at the top of the screen. This will take you to a page which will allow you to compose a new email.
  • Enter the email address of the person whom you are trying to contact in the box labeled To:. Any additional recipients' email addresses should be entered in the box for Cc: or Bcc:.
  • If you want responses to this email you are writing to go to another email address you have, enter that in the Reply-To: box.
  • Enter a subject for the message, which will give whoever you are sending the message to an idea of what the email is about in the Subject: box.
  • Finally, write what you want to say in the Message: box.
  • Once done writing the email, make sure not to request a delivery receipt, or the message you composed will not send and you will get an error. The web-mail will not handle receipts.
  • Click the Send button to send your message.
